Bev
Director/Internal Quality Assurance
Bev is passionate about philosophy for children. She loves the great outdoors. Bev is very excited to create opportunities for young people to explore new ideas as part of the business qualification. She will be planning exciting trips and activity weeks. Bev enjoys growing vegetables, hiking and loves to watch James Bond films.
Fran
Play Therapist
Fran is a trained therapist. She has her own therapy dog called Zapper, who can be found at P.L.O.T. on occasion. Fran delivers creative activities, being qualified in and passionate about art, especially upcycling. Fran enjoys travelling, blogging and creating music.
Mel
Equine
Mel is our resident equine expert, who works closely with Jasmine in providing equine activities for the students at P.L.O.T. Having worked with horses from a young age, Mel is happy being hands-on with horses of all shapes and sizes. Mel likes nothing more than relaxing with a good book in an evening and can often be found discovering hidden gems at car boot sales.
Michael
Director/Functional Skills Lead
Mike enjoys the outdoors. He is very experienced in outdoor pursuits. A trained D of E instructor, he plans team activities, outdoor cooking and navigation tasks. He enjoys keeping fit and is also qualified to deliver the health and sports qualifications and the uniformed services qualifications. Mike enjoys reading, and is very interested in history.
Andrew
Exams Lead
Andrew supports our senior students with their vocational and functional skills qualifications as well as supporting daily activities for both age groups. Andrew is a keen fan of American Football and can often be found watching his favourite team lose. He is a keen reader and loves superhero movies.
Aurora
Cooking Lead
With a childcare-based Foundation Degree and an outdoor qualification, Aurora works with our primary school age group. Due to a background in cooking, Aurora takes the lead in our cooking activities. When not whipping up a treat at P.L.O.T., Aurora enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Wesley (who may be one of the biggest dogs we have ever seen).
Jasmine
Equestrian Therapist
Jasmine is a keen horse rider, and has her own horse called Taz, who can be found in our on-site stables. She enjoys being outdoors and taking part in team activities. Qualified in early years, Jasmine is responsible for the early years and equine qualifications. Jasmine enjoys outdoor cooking, loves parachuting and adores Disney films.
Richard
Primary School Teacher
Richard is the newest member of our team. A qualified teacher, Richard works with our primary school age group, creating science experiments and team activities on a daily basis. A Biology graduate, Richard loves anything “science-y” and spending his free time playing board games.
Hayden
Trades Lead
Hayden is a trained electrician with a military background who leads our trade-based projects. Working with senior students, Hayden is responsible for supporting students in earning some of the vocational qualifications we offer. A keen outdoors-man, there aren’t many sports that Hayden hasn’t turned his hand too.
